Which Guild Wars is best Eye of the North or Factions?

I want to get the platinum edition where it comes with Guild Wars and either Factions or EotN. I heard that EotN is an expansion and you need to beat like all of Nightfall in order the play EotN. But idk if that is real. Can someone give me an answer plus give a good reason why it's the best. Thank you.Which Guild Wars is best Eye of the North or Factions?
The Platinum Edition includes the original Guild Wars game, "Prophecies". This is the best of the three GW main games (or chapters) for someone to learn the game with, in my opinion. If you must choose between Factions and Eye-of-the-North, it would depend on what might interest you most in the game. If you get really into it like I did, you will eventually want both of those anyway!

Eye-of-the-North is an expansion set and you need one of the main games to go with it. You also need to have a character in any one of those games who has reached at least level 10 (level 20 is better) and who has reached the appropriate geographical point in the game in order to travel to the Eye. In Prophecies that means getting as far as "Lion's Arch".

You do not need to beat any of the games before going to the Eye.

Factions is another 'stand alone' chapter of the game. It has an Oriental theme and introduces two new character classes, the Assassin and the Ritualist. Both of these classes are very interesting, but a little harder to play successfully than most of the 'core' classes, the 6 that come with the original Guild Wars: Prophecies.

Your choice boils down to whether you'd be more interested in a high-level expansion area to continue to from Prophecies, or whether you are more interested in a second chapter with a new story-line and new character classes.

Personally, I'd go with Factions. Later on you can pick up Eye of the North. You'll like the game, I'm pretty sure, and then you'll want to expand it. You will also probably want to purchase and play Nightfall eventually!!!Which Guild Wars is best Eye of the North or Factions?
I would get the Platinum Edition, because it comes with Guild Wars: Prophecies and Eye of the North. Faction is a the worst out of all the Guild Wars game and it is bad for beginners to start with, but it is still a fun game. If you are a Beginner, you should start playing GW with Prophecies, it is the best for beginners and it has to best storyline.

In order for you to get to Eye of the north, you need to own One of the Guild Wars Campaigns (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall). And then by the time you're half way finished with one of the campaigns, there is gonna be a person who will offer you a quest to Eye of the North.

Hope i Helped. :)Which Guild Wars is best Eye of the North or Factions?
i would have to agree that profices is the best it is the most indepth of all the games i myself since i use faction skills in PvE would have to say it is pretty good alot of nice skills and stuff the only bad thing is the keep u in this huge city most of the game and when you finley get out you are so happy to get out they then put you back in for a few missions and then end of the game factions is a good PvP thing becouse of the faction aspect of it i did not like eye of the north that well but its ok the one thing that annoys me with eye of the north is the elite skills you can cap can be found in the other champaigns and unless the skill does not follow a title track they really dont have any new skills
If asked whether to get Prophecies + EotN bundled or Factions + EotN bundled, I'd go with the former.

Reason being:

1) Prophecies is the best one for a new player to Guild Wars due to a shallow learning curve and

2) EotN follows the Prophecies storyline closest

You need to finish Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall in order to play EotN (not all of them, just one).
